At Highland Park, we believe everybody matters -- everybody, no exceptions.
We offer the love of Christ to strangers and friends. We want to know and love our neighbors, both in the near community and in the wider world community. Because we believe that when we get to know people, we learn more about God's world and more about God's merciful grace. We are a congregation that believes in going outside our church walls to help wherever help is needed. Just as Micah 6:8 says, we want to "love others, do justice, and walk humbly with God."

Cheryl Kimble
Pastor
Cheryl Kimble began serving Highland Park as Associate Minister for Children and Families in 2000 and has, at times, added youth to her ministry. During interim times over the past 12 years, we have depended on her for preaching love, pastoral care, and church ministries and missions. Cheryl was called as Pastor of Highland Park in May 2012.
Cheryl began serving Highland Park as Associate Minister for Children and Families in 2000 and has, at times, added youth to her ministry. During interim times over the past 12 years, we have depended on her for preaching love, pastoral care, and church ministries and missions. Cheryl was called as Pastor of Highland Park in May 2012.Cheryl has a Masters in Elementary Education from University of Central Oklahoma and taught school in Midwest City/Del City Public Schools for 13 years. She served First Baptist Church, Oklahoma City as Music Associate, 1993-1996; and as Minister to Children and Families, 1996-2000. She was ordained to the Gospel Ministry in May 1997.
