We're a small country church congregation averaging about 60-70 on Sundays and growing. We believe the old fashion way of having church that has been almost forgotten about in our contemporary culture. We like those old convention style songs and old fashion, Devil stomping, life changing preaching.
Although we try to keep things old fashion don't be surprised to hear a newer song here and there.
We believe the Word of God changes lives just as it's written and it needs no help to draw people to God.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Our services are traditional but not formal. We begin by singing a few congregation songs such as standing by the river, I know I'm saved, swing wide the gate, and many other convention style songs. You'll find some wearing ties but most wear blue jeans or whatever they're comfortable in. We just ask to keep modest. The Pastor preaches the Word of God. Sometimes it will make you "feel good", sometimes it will bruise your toes. He's been often heard saying "I'm not here to be popular, I'm here to preach the Word of God." We're a small country church the way it used to be.

What is the community like?
Most of our congregation are young to middle aged working families. We consider ourselves on the same playing field. We don't have any little "I's" or big "U's". We're all here to serve the Lord together. We're a big family. When one hurt, we all do. We don't have much money and really don't care about that. We depend on the Lord to supply us what we need, when we need it and boy what a blessing!

What if I'm not a Christian?
Everyone is welcome at Old Time. We understand that not everyone's a Christian. That's why Jesus created the church, to bring the lost to His saving grace. You come as you are and if you feel God asking you to be saved and you accept His free gift, repent of your sins and follow the Lord in believer's baptism you will become a member of Old Time if you wish.
