Who We Are

At Northcrest Community Church, we believe:

In God the Father, and in Jesus Christ, His only son.
The virgin birth of Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit who is always at work convicting, convincing, and comforting.
Jesus Christ was buried, and on the third day rose again.
Jesus Christ now sits at God's right hand interceding for his people.
In the forgiveness of sins, and the resurrection of the body.
The Holy Bible is God's Word; that it is given by divine inspiration and contains all things necessary to our salvation and life. The Holy Bible is the final authority on all matters of faith and practice.
Those who receive new life in Jesus Christ are called to be holy in character and conduct, and can only live this way by being filled with the Holy Spirit. This occurs when the believer presents their whole life, by faith, to God.
God desires for people everywhere to know Him and that the purpose of the church is to tell the world about Jesus Christ through worship, witness, and loving deeds.

Our Services

What are services like?
We start at 10:30am and usually finish at 12 Noon. Our services generally include a time of worship and biblical message. The message is either topical (dealing with a subject and the Bible relates to it) or expository (presents the meaning and intent of a biblical text, providing commentary and examples to make the passage clear and understandable). We celebrate communion about once a month and baptisms periodically through the year.

What is the community like?
You will find a very welcoming, friendly, accepting, multi-cultural, multi-generational and multi-socialeconomic group of people at Northcrest! You will find that we casually drink coffee and fellowship, realizing the real Sanctuary is you and in coming together; not the building itself.

What if I'm not a Christian?
We accept you as you are! God does, therefore, who are we to do any different!?! We come together as a family of like-minded Followers of Jesus and His Teachings. However, if you are simply curious, we welcome you! None of us are perfect by any standard, and we don't expect anyone to be perfect. However, we desire to make progress as we seek God and seek Him with all of our heart. This, in turn, will challenge any of us and we will see change. Therefore, we may all start this journey at different stages.
