New Life is a church with a commitment to helping hurting people of all ages, sex, race, nationality or background grow emotionally, relationally, and spiritually. We will strive to prepare saints to know God’s word and be able to recognize the enemy’s lure and tactics. To spread the Gospel to a world in need, and to lift God up in all we do.
Our focus is to enlighten people on the word of God; to encourage, renew, strengthen and lead men, women and children to a higher level of worship and praise.

Leadership
Wilse Sample
Wilse J. Sample is a Native of Pickens, Mississippi. He is the 5th child of 10 siblings born to the union of Arthur L. Sample Jr. and Lenel Sample. At age 12, he was baptized and became a member of the Greater Fairview Missionary Baptist Church of Pickens, Mississippi. He graduated from Durant Attendance Center High School in May of 1979 and joined the United States Marine Corps. He retired as a Master Sergeant on June 1, 2000 after 21 years of active service.
In March of 1992 he was ordained as a Deacon; licensed in 1995 to preach and teach the Gospel and ordained in 1998.
In June 1998, he became Pastor of New Life Family Worship Center formerly New Life Baptist Church of Jacksonville, North Carolina, “A Unique Church, On a Unique Mission, Serving a Unique God” Job 23:13 (NKJV).
Pastor Sample is radical and very serious about making, marking and maturing men, women, and youth in these last and evil days. His desire is to pour into you the Word, wisdom and knowledge that will excite, encourage and empower you to impact God’s kingdom.
