New Hope Church - Wooster

My wife and I started looking for a new church as the Pandemic was ending. My wife had visited New Hope in the past to attend a Women’s Virtual Conference and she had a good experience, so we decided to make it the first church we visited together. From the first service on, we felt welcomed and comfortable. The message was delivered in a teaching manner and that was exactly what I needed. My faith was reignited during the Pandemic and I wanted to grow my relationship with God. New Hope is a perfect fit for me. The teaching approach to the Sunday message is refreshing, educational and has helped me continue to grow my faith. The available classes and Bible studies are engaging and fantastic. The entire pastoral staff is great as well – friendly, caring, and Godly. New Hope is truly a bible-based church and the messages come straight from scripture. We have been part of the New Hope family for about a year and half now. I’ve never felt part of a church family more and my faith has grown so much that I’ve recently been Baptized in the church. My wife and I would recommend New Hope Church to anyone looking for a new church. Whether your a life long Christian or looking to learn and grow your faith, New Hope is for you.

We are blessed to attend New Hope Church. We love the sermons which are Bible based, no politics or social issues. There are many opportunities to get involved, Bible studies, womens groups, mens groups, faith growth groups mixed men and womens groups etc. I especially enjoy the mens group where mens issues are discussed. You have the opportunity to be helped or have the chance to help others. The Church also offers consoling by an on staff member. Come join us, you will love the people and have an opportunity to grow your faith.

My wife and I started coming to New Hope Church back in March 2022. We loved how we were right away welcomed into the congregation and felt at home. The worship is great and the teaching team do a wonderful job in using God's word to challenge, uplift, and encourage us in our daily walk through life with Christ. We were able to plug into a small group fairly soon which was a great thing, we love doing life with peers and praying for each other and helping people out. Weekly we dig deeper into God's word together this has been a big blessing for me. We also get together and have fun activities such as eating out, fishing and doing work projects. There is a great program for getting your children and youth involved also. My wife and I have been truly blessed by New Hope Church of Wooster.

We started attending New Hope approximately 6.5 years ago and we haven’t left! The moment we walked in those doors, the people there were so kind and welcoming! New Hope K!ds is absolutely amazing and have helped our daughters grow in Christ! Illuminate Youth Group is led by an awesome leader. Those who served with the teens are so caring and help these kids and tell them how to turn to God in times of trouble! The teaching team is amazing and Pastor Tim, Jim, and Nikki as well as Sam teach Sunday sermons so we can understand the Bible more clearly. New Hope has small groups that acts as a small family within the church and we support and pray for each other! New Hope has a class called Equip that has helped so many people grow. We have developed so many friendships in the church and it’s nice to have deep discussions with them. So, come check us out!

When my husband and I began looking for a church for our family to settle in, I had a lot I was looking for in a perfect church. We wanted an inclusive church where everyone is welcome and loved. We were looking for an authentic church with modern worship that offered a message that wasn't on repeat like a lot of the larger churches in our area. They are NOT afraid to discuss sensitive topics and remain grounded in the Word. They encourage you to open your Bible every sermon and every day of the week with study plans, growth classes and a class to equip you in your walk. This is the church for you if you are looking for a deeper relationship with Jesus and staff to encourage your growth! Very excited to now call this church home and welcome everyone considering to come try it out!

Being a mom of 4, when I started looking for a church I was really looking for a great kids ministry. I went alone my first visit just to check it out and the message that day seemed just for me and where I was in my life at the time, things I really needed to hear! The next Sunday, I brought the family. The kids had so much fun, they bugged me all week about going back the next Sunday! Which was easy because we liked it too!! It appealed to me at first with their "Come as you are, no perfect people allowed". Jeans and brokeness.... Awesome- suits all of us! The kids ministry was amazing with all my kids, and they came out learning more and more and having so much fun each Sunday. It was a very welcoming group of all types of people! As I write this today my 4 children at home is down to 2 and they are teenagers involved in New Hope's Youth Group, which they enjoy learning more and digging deeper in their faith and having fun! New Hope is home for us and everyone seems like family, a growing family!
