About Us

We are a community of Christ followers who love God, love people, and make disciples.

Our vision is to reach, teach, and connect the people of our community to Jesus Christ through providing a clear presentation of the Gospel, through loving people as Jesus does, by following His example to put God first and seeking His will in all we do.

On Sundays we meet at 10:15 am for our Sunday Celebration! We have children's services for the kids and a service for the youth and adults in the sanctuary. The kids are welcome to be with the parents but we find they understand and enjoy more in services designed specifically for them. There will be corporate singing, prayer, and preaching in every service that is age appropriate and Christ-centered. It's a great day to express our love and adoration to our Heavenly Father!

On Wednesday evenings we meet from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm for an interactive Bible study that is multigenerational. That means we're all together in the sanctuary learning about God together. This is a more intimate time because there are fewer people and it allows you to ask questions and really get to know one another.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Our style of worship is a blend of contemporary and traditional music, so that means we'll sing modern songs and hymns from 400 years ago. Our Minister of Music does a fantastic job of blending these songs together so we can express our love to God through song! Our Sunday morning services usually last 1 hour and 45 minutes, this is long for some and not long enough for others.

What is the community like?
We are a Spirit-filled Church and that means we believe in allowing the Holy Spirit to manifest His gifts within the church body to edify and encourage those in attendance. You can read 1 Corinthians chapters 12 to 14 and get a better understanding of what this means. At New Hope Community Church we love God, love people and strive to make Disciples for Christ. This means when you visit with us you should experience God's love through us and learn how you too can be a Christian or Disciple of Jesus Christ.

Rob Woods

Hi, I'm Rob Woods and I've been the Lead Pastor of New Hope Community Church since April 25, 1999. It's been a great journey of faith watching people's lives change because of their relationship with Jesus Christ. I was called by God to be a minister when I was fifteen years old. The Holy Spirit spoke into my mind and said I would "preach" for the LORD! At seventeen I went to Bible College in Florida where I met my wife. She and I have been married 20 years. We've ministered in two other churches before coming to New England and New Hope. I love God with all my heart and I want to share His love with others!
