What are services like?
While based on traditional Presbyterian/Reformed liturgy, the services are not stuffy or hidebound. A mix of contemporary music and "traditional" hymns. People dress comfortably year-round, and the pastor rarely wears a tie or a pulpit robe (only on special occasions). Strong preaching that seeks to engage heart AND mind to bring about Christ-like changes in life. Communion is on the first Sunday of each month.
What is the community like?
Active, caring, deeply involved people who do a multitude of things. Our folks are active in community and church, believing Christ calls us into the world, not away from it.
What if I'm not a Christian?
Then you are as welcome as anyone else! You will hear group singing, a lot of different things from the Hebrew and Christian scriptures and a sermon that is centered on the Bible and what it means to us today. First time visitor? You are our honored guest, no matter who you are!!!
