What to Expect

What are services like?
Our divine liturgies are very scriptural and uniquely utilizes God's gift of human voice without musical insturments to express our worship of the Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The liturgy is rooted in ancient celebration and participation of the Holy Mystery of the Eucharist, described in the New Testament as the Agape meal. We are a sacramental Church, which means that blessings, gifts and graces instituted by Christ are performed for our members in a personal and spiritual way. This ritual actions try in a human way to give understanding to the supernatural actions of God . These mysteries are Baptism, Chrismation, Eucharist, Reconciliation, Matrimony, Ordination and Anointing.

What is the community like?
We are everyday people. Our small congregation of around 50 people are like a Christian family which is born and grows together until our natural bodily end. But even then we are remembered with traditional funeral services and remembered for generations after, offering prayers and requesting the prayers from the "crowd of witnesses" who are still with us but in a different way.

What if I'm not a Christian?
You are welcome. If you come a few minutes early please introduce yourself to someone and tell them you are new. You may try to follow the service books but we recommend that you just take it in. We welcome your questions in the coffee social after our Sunday service. If you come on a Friday there will be plenty of time following the service for questions and a personal tour if you wish. In our current culture it is difficult to raise a family in a Christian way. Our small size makes your family feel important and you aren't lost in a large impersonal congregation.
