About Us
We are a church that cares for one another and the community. Myrtle Lake is active and involved in the community. Our ministries include Upwards Sports for children on a seasonal basis. IGNITE is our Student Ministries for middle and high school and they meet on Wednesday evenings in the Student Ministries Building at 6:30PM for worship, Bible Study and some FUN.
Celebrate Recovery is a program for people dealing with habits, hangups and hurts. They meet on Friday evenings at 6:30PM.

Elbert Nasworthy
Our Senior Pastor came in 2002 after serving as the Senior Pastor at West Hillsborough Baptist Church in Tampa. He and his wife Elaine are from Tampa and have been married 41 years. They have 2 children and their daughter Lacey and her husband Robert live in Valrico with their children Anthony and Isabella. Their son and his wife Amanda with their daughter Emersyn live in Odessa. The Pastor host a daily LIVE radio program on WTBN AM 570-910 and can also be heard on the web at www.bayword.com There are also apps for your smartphone to hear the braosdcast as well as IHeart radio.Location & Directions
