What to Expect

What are services like?
Our services are biblically centered, including expository preaching, prayer, worship, baptisms, and communion. The gospel changes everything. The gospel is “the power of God” (Rom. 1:16) that changes not only unbelievers but believers as well. The gospel is the solution not only of our spiritual problems but all personal problems (Col. 1:16) and all societal problems (Gal. 2:14). We are committed to bringing the gospel to everyone.

What is the community like?
The people of this church have created a culture of grace and truth that makes it a great place to grow spiritually. The gospel creates a new community. The gospel completely transforms our relationships with one another. As a community, we not only speak the gospel, we live it through hospitality and deeds of love and kindness in and through community.

What if I'm not a Christian?
We love non-Christians. We want non-Christians to know the love of Christ and how Jesus Christ died on the Cross to forgive them of their sins and transform their lives.

MVC has been our home church for over five years. The two things that most attracted us to this church are the consistently solid Biblical teaching, and the members themselves. MVC is a group of believers who are "real", loving and instantly made us feel welcomed. We love our church!
