What to Expect

What are services like?
Our Sunday Worship Gatherings start at 10:30 a.m. The service will have singing led by a worship band with piano and organ, a welcome time, a prayer time and a message from Scripture. Nursery care is provided for infants through 3 yrs. Children's Church provided for 4 yrs through 2nd grade (dismissed prior to sermon). A fellowhip time will follow the service. Prayer with the Elders is available after the service. The entire service should take around 1 hour and 20 minutes. On the 1st Sunday of the month, we celebrate Holy Communion which is open to all believers.

What is the community like?
MCC is a multi-generational congregation that comes together to worship our God and King. There are programs for every age group and numerous service opportunities and Bible studies both at the church and in homes during the week.

What if I'm not a Christian?
All are welcome to join us. You will hear a message about Jesus and how He can transform your life and lead you through those good and bad times we all face. Come and hear the good news of the Gospel.

Leadership

Bill Nylund

Pastor Bill began pastoral training at Western Evangelical Seminary. During his studies, Bill was hired by Milwaukie Covenant for a one-year internship which he completed in the Spring of '91. Bill earned his Master of Divinity degree from North Park Theological Seminary. Bill and family moved to Kearney, Missouri, where he began his first pastorate, serving there until July 1999 when he returned to MCC as Senior Pastor. Bill and wife Kim have three children. They enjoy fishing, skiing and just spending time together.
