What to Expect

What are services like?
We have two very different services: Our 8:50 AM service is Contemporary with a casual atmosphere, live band, coffee bar, and is set in our multi-purpose room (Jarrett Hall) Our 11:00 AM service is more Traditional, with a full choir, accompanied by an Aeolian-Skinner pipe organ, a sanctuary with beautiful stained glass windows, and the service is more liturgical than our Contemporary service. We have a "Children's Church" during both services that is focused on allowing kids to worship in their own style. Children are invited to go to Children's Church after the Children's Message portion of each of our services.

What is the community like?
We area friendly community made up of folks from different walks of life. Whether you are more comfortable in a suit and tie or shorts and flip-flops, we believe that you will find a home with us. We have strong children and youth ministry programs, so many families find us a great place to raise kids. We also have an active group of older adults that is the backbone of many of our special projects and annual events. We also have a great program of outreach into our community, supporting local clothing closets, soup kitchens, and food pantries.

What if I'm not a Christian?
We are committed to meeting people "where they are". One of the stereotypes of the mainstream churches are that you have to "clean" yourself up and act a certain way BEFORE you feel comfortable coming to worship. We hope to accept all people no matter what their station in life. You will feel as comfortable in our community regardless of whether you are returning to church after a period away or if you are simply trying to understand more about what Christianity has to offer. Any of the pastors would love to answer any questions that you might have regarding faith, God and our church. WELCOME!
