Mar Vista is a vibrant Bible-believing congregation that loves the Word of God, His people, and the Lord Jesus! We enjoy songs and hymns in worship and thoughtful, enjoyable and practical expository preaching each Sunday.

What is the community like?
Mar Vista Baptist Church has been serving Imperial Beach since 1951. In the last few years, it has begun a new chapter in its history. We are multi-ethnic, multi-generational church committed to faithfully teaching the Word of God and living out the Word of God in community with one another. We invite you to come help us shape our future.

What if I'm not a Christian?
We believe that salvation is the gift of God brought to man by grace and received by personal and purposeful faith in the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, whose precious blood was shed on Calvary for the forgiveness of sins (1 Corinthians 15:1–5; Ephesians 1:7; 2:8–10; 1 Peter 1:18–19).
