Living Hope Church is a vibrant expression of God’s work in Traverse City.

Founded in 1998, Living Hope has grown into an outstanding group of people who look to share the great things God has done in them and through them with the world. Perhaps you are looking for a church to attend or you’re simply looking for something and you don’t know what it is. We think Living Hope would be a great place to start.

We have a fully staffed nursery for those 3 years old and under. For those children over the age of three we offer a full service created especially for them which occurs downstairs in our children’s area.

What to Expect

What are services like?
When you arrive at Living Hope, you should expect to find an energetic, diverse gathering of people who love God and love people. You will notice different generations, styles and backgrounds coming together for one purpose, a unified expression of love. Feel free to dress comfortably and be ready for a smile and a gift as our guest. You can even grab a cup of coffee in our Cafe before or after service. Our worship is a mix of contemporary exuberance and timeless reverence and our teachings are relevant, applicable principles from the Bible. Our goal is to provide an atmosphere in which you will be able to experience life changing encounters with God.

Leadership

Carey Waldie

Carey Waldie is a husband of one wife and a father of four children. He grew up in the mid-Michigan area around Saginaw. He has served at Living Hope since its founding as youth pastor and lead pastor. Pastor Carey enjoys the outdoors, sports and aviation. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Western Michigan University and has authored three books. His passions are his family, church and the proclamation of the supremacy of Jesus to world.
