Laurel Hill Baptist Church

About Us

A church for the whole family.

We are a small to medium size Christ centered, Bible believing, Bible teaching church. Mostly traditional but blended to fit the lives of all age groups. We believe the local church is a family and part of the family of God. Therefore, we seek to live life together as a family meaning grandparents through grand-children fit well. Come join us on Sunday or watch us on the web or download the podcast.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Some tradition but moving in a more culturally contemporary style of worship. Heavy belief in the Word of God changing lives therefore emphasis is placed on the preaching and teaching of God's Word.

What is the community like?
Mostly 30 plus age group with lots of kids. A solid youth group that is growing in Christ and learning to reach the people of our community. Missions minded supporting various missions work. Very friendly and kind, people who seek others to help with acts of kindness and support. Most of the comments from the community is they can feel the love of Christ the moment they walk in the service.

What if I'm not a Christian?
We want you to know that God loves you. We want to explain the truth of God's Word to you and why Jesus came to give His life for you. We want you to know that He is holy and we are not. We want you to know that because God is Holy He must judge sin. We want you to know the Bible says we have all sinned (done anything either in our words, actions or even thoughts that hurt God) before Him. In other words, we have violated His Holiness is some way, either in a small way or a large way. We want you to know that our sin separates us from His Holiness meaning we are destined for a life separated from Him forever in Hell if we don't ask Him to forgive us for violating His Holiness. We want you to know that we can never make ourselves right with Him alone. We want you to know that God's free gift to us is eternal life which is given to anyone who accepts Christ's death on their behalf. We want you to know that Jesus satisfied God's anger against anyone who violated His Holiness. We want you to know that you can have the free gift of eternal life by allowing Jesus to pay the penalty of your sin by His death. We want you to know that you can receive this free gift right were you are by simply acknowledging Jesus death, burial and resurrection. We want you to know the Bible says, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (as a payment for your sin), you will be saved. Romans 10:9 We want you to know that all you have to do is accept the fact that Jesus died for you, in your place for your sin so you could be right with God the Father and surrender your life fully to Him. Therefore, anyone who is desiring to have a saving relationship with Jesus Christ is welcome. We long for people to come to Jesus so He can cleanse them of their sin and give them hope of their eternal home while at the same time giving them life more abundantly on this earth. It is our desire if you are not a Christian to explain to you the way of salvation through Jesus. Your life will never be the same. He will show you how to live for Him and surrender your life to Him. He wants to be Lord of your life. You will be eternally grateful to Him if you surrender to Him your life and all you are.

Every time I visit this church I feel the Holy Spirit's presence. Also, the people there are extremely warm and welcoming. It is a small church which gives it a family type of atmosphere. Pastor Goldsmith preaches from the bible. This church has a lot to offer all ages and if you are looking to grow spiritually in your walk with Christ this is a great place to attend. They are open now for services 9 and 10:30 on Sunday and virtually.
