Leadership
Jerry Tankersley
Rev. Dr. Jerry Tankersley, Senior Pastor At Laguna Presbyterian since 1972, Dr. Tankersley received his B.A. from Westmont College, followed by a B.D. from Fuller Theological Seminary. He went on to obtain a Th.M. from Princeton Theological Seminary, followed by a Ph.D. from Claremont Graduate School. He also received a Doctorate of Ministry from the School of Theology Claremont. Jerry was ordained by the Presbyterian Church (USA) in 1963. Prior to his service at LPC, Dr. Tankersley served as Assistant Pastor at the Wilshire Presbyterian Church in Los Angeles and as Associate Pastor at La Canada Presbyterian Church in La Canada. Jerry and his wife, Kay, enjoy their role as grandparents to Quinn and Luke Tankersley, born to Rachel and Jeff, their son.Location & Directions

There is a poster or painting hanging in the downstairs room where my granddaughter had her Eagle Scout of Honor in Spring if 2023z this picture depicts Jesus’s Last Supper and each disciple around the table is depicted in a different race. I have never seem it’s like and I will never forget it. It told me all I wanted and needed to know about that church. How I wish I could find one like it for my church.
