What to Expect

What are services like?
When we assemble for worship each Sunday our service consists of singing, praying, preaching, giving, and commemorating the Lord’s Supper. We will engage congregational acapella singing of psalms, hymns and spiritual songs (Ephesians 5:19). You will observe the congregation partaking of unleavened bread and drinking the fruit of the vine in memory of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus (Matthew 26:26-29), known as the Lord’s Supper, or referred to as Communion. We do this on the first day of every week, like the Christians in the first century (Acts 20:7). You will not be confused by many people speaking or praying at the same time. Good order will prevail at every service (1 Corinthians 14:33). You will observe one of the brethren leading the congregation reverently and quietly in prayer (1 Timothy 2:1-5). During the service, a collection is taken. (1 Corinthians 16:1-3). The congregation is supported by the free will offerings of its members and we do not ask guest to financially give in supporting the work of the church.

What is the community like?
We are a multi-cultural congregation, and we have a young full -time minister who really knows how to engage with the youth and adults at different levels of their faith. The church is small to mid size with a mixture of older and middle age members and some youth.

What if I'm not a Christian?
We will always welcome you to worship with us and to be our special guest. We invite you to attend as many times as you'd like so we can get the opportunity to know you and where you will be received with warmth and love.
