About Us
We are a mission-oriented church that serves the Havre de Grace area. We have many opportunities for you and your children to participate in worship, fellowship, Bible study, music ministry and outreach to the community. Our weekly services feature blend of classic hymns, Gospel songs, praise choruses and choir anthems, all designed to compliment a Bible-based sermon applicable to our everyday lives. We use multi-media to enhance our worship and offer a children’s sermon, which is followed by a children’s worship time in the fellowship hall. Nursery care and a cry room are also provided.

Leadership
Corey Sharpe
Pastor
Rev. Corey Sharpe was appointed to Hopewell United Methodist Church in July 2010. He is a native Tarheel, and came to faith in Christ at the age of eight. He reaffirmed his baptism at a summer camp when he was a teenager, and sensed his call to pastoral ministry while he was in college.
Corey completed degrees at both Liberty University and Evangelical Seminary before his first episcopal appointment in 2004. He was ordained an elder in the United Methodist Church in May 2007. He recently completed his Doctor of Ministry at Fuller Theological Seminary.
