    Kevin Mitchell first came to Highland Park as Interim Minister for Families in November 2011, coming to know our entire congregation during this time. In May 2012, Kevin was called as Associate Pastor of Highland Park. In his capacity as Associate Pastor, Kevin serves as liaison to church ministries of all ages, plans and oversees ministries to children, youth and families, preaches and teaches the Gospel of Christ, provides pastoral care, as well as represents HPBC in the community and participates in the ecumenical community.

    Cheryl Kimble began serving Highland Park as Associate Minister for Children and Families in 2000 and has, at times, added youth to her ministry. During interim times over the past 12 years, we have depended on her for preaching love, pastoral care, and church ministries and missions. Cheryl was called as Pastor of Highland Park in May 2012. Cheryl began serving Highland Park as Associate Minister for Children and Families in 2000 and has, at times, added youth to her ministry. Cheryl was called as Pastor of Highland Park in May 2012.Cheryl has a Masters in Elementary Education from University of Central Oklahoma and taught school in Midwest City/Del City Public Schools for 13 years. She served First Baptist Church, Oklahoma City as Music Associate, 1993-1996; and as Minister to Children and Families, 1996-2000. She was ordained to the Gospel Ministry in May 1997.
