Leadership
Jim Duck
Senior Pastor
Pastor Jim Duck was raised in numerous states throughout the south and graduated high school, in Clinton, Mississippi. He joined the Air-Force after graduation and served in an elite group know as Para Rescue. After serving as a police officer for over twelve years in Florida, and a private investigator for 7 years, the Lord called him into the ministry as pastor of a local church. Jim has served in that position in three states, Florida, Alabama, and Louisiana. He currently serves as Senior Pastor of Heights Baptist Church, Pensacola, Florida where he has been for over 1.5 years. He also serves as Lead Chaplain for Pensacola Police Dept. He and his wife Jane have 3 daughters and twelve grandchildren. Jim received his B.A. in Criminal Justice from University of Central Florida, and his Master of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.

Heights Baptist Church is filled with history and old memories. My husband grew up in this church and the people there welcomed me with open arms. They have traditional service which appeals to many.
