About Us
Welcome to Lawton Street Baptist Church, an Independent Baptist Church that is committed to following the Bible and making disciples of Jesus Christ.
We believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God and that it is our only source of authority for faith and practice. We believe that Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation and that he died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. We believe that the Holy Spirit is our guide and comforter and that he empowers us to live a life of obedience to God.
Our services are traditional and focus on the preaching of the Word of God. We use the King James Version of the Bible and believe that it is the most accurate translation of the original Hebrew and Greek texts. We also have Sunday School and programs for all ages and demographics.

A lifelong member of Lawton Street Baptist Church, Pastor Bill Freeman is passionate about sharing the love of Jesus Christ with others.
Pastor Bill has been serving as the senior pastor of Lawton Street Baptist Church for two years, and he is committed to leading the church into a new era of growth and impact. He is a gifted communicator and teacher, and he is passionate about helping people grow in their faith.
Pastor Bill is also a loving husband and father. He is married to Becky, and they are committed to serving the community of Ferry Pass in the Pensacola, Florida. They are active members of the Lawton Street Baptist Church community, and they are always looking for ways to serve others.
