About Us

We are a new church that thrives on the desire to know and experience Jesus. We use Scripture as our guide and practice exuberant worship and heart-felt community. We welcome anyone who is seeking something different from the traditional church setting and desires to take the limits off of their relationship with God.

We put a great deal of emphasis on knowing the Scriptures and understanding them, not just attending weekly gatherings but allowing the Holy Ghost to infiltrate our lives and transform our character.

If you are looking for something "outside of the box", then come join us for a fellowship meeting. You might just leave with a new perspective of the Church and our Savior!

What to Expect

What are services like?
We open in prayer, and from there we usually sing a song or two or three, just depending on what the atmosphere dictates. The group then most often enters into a discussion of Scripture, either principally or a specific section. We are non-traditional and seek to glean from the early church's experiences what the Gospel is truly intended to be and look like. The pastor and his wife have three young children (6, 4, and 1), so there are child care and Sunday School accommodations.

What is the community like?
We are multi-cultural, multi-generational and we think we are genuinely friendly. But, you'll have to be the judge about that :-)

What if I'm not a Christian?
Then this may be just what you're looking for! Because we are small, this provides anyone with a setting and opportunity to both hear and ask questions. We welcome curiosity and enjoy honest seeking of Truth by anyone. There is no intimidation and the ability to follow where God leads us each week is a prime example of why we all feel that this type of ministry is not only beneficial to us, but needful in our culture today. Knowing God is the aim of all of us!

Chad Davis

Pastor Davis and his wife, Julie, moved to Wyoming in 2013 and have been involved in many aspects of church activity. In 2007, they began their ministry "Haven of the Rock" and have endeavored to make a meaningful impact on the lives of the people in their community. Pastor Davis was educated at Christian Life College in Stockton, CA as well as certified through The Institute For Addiction Studies in Davie, FL and Connecticut School of Broadcasting in West Palm Beach, FL. They have three children and are emphatic about the importance of a healthy home in the life of a Christian.
