About Us
Goodland Community Church exists to connect with families, youth and children through community worship, inspirational teaching and authentic relationships. We believe core principles of Christian living are community with other believers, communion with God and connecting with our community and our world.
Real People
We are a gathering of real people with individual strengths and weaknesses. Jesus didn’t spend time with stuffy religious leaders, rather, He spent time with real everyday people. Anyone is welcome in our doors anytime. It is important as Christians that we develop authentic relationships with other believers to encourage each other, pray together and walk through life together. We all have weakness and it is through the grace of God that we can grow together in our faith despite our flaws.
Serving a Real God
God desires to work in the lives of His believers today just as He did in the scriptures. We believe living your Christian faith isn’t about your attendance record at church events; rather, it’s about a deep authentic relationship with Jesus Christ and knowing Him daily. We hope that our worship services are a time for you to connect with God, hear from God and allow Him to touch your life in a real way so that you can live your Christian faith in a personal way with confidence, joy and peace despite circumstances life sends your way.
Making a Real Difference
According to the great commission in Acts 1:8, we are to be witnesses in “Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria and to the ends of the earth.” We believe in reaching our own ‘Jerusalem’ right here in Goodland as well as missions throughout the country and world. At GCC we will always strive to be a part of our community through various events, outreaches and individual relationships. We also believe in the importance of giving to missions throughout the US and the world.
