Our Services

What are services like?
We offer two styles of worship: A traditional, Liturgical Service at 8:00 a.m. and a Contemporary Service which is informal and led by a fantastic band and talented singers. The vibe is casual and friendly; the music in the Hillsong genre.

What is the community like?
Our church is a multi-generational community in transition. We've relocated from our historic home in the center of Elgin to a new, modern facility in western Elgin, nestled among three large new subdivisions. We are reaching new people now, mainly young families. We seek to become THE community Church in western Elgin, serving our community in every way we can.

What if I'm not a Christian?
The journey to being a fully engaged Christian is different for all of us. We seek to be as helpful as possible. We do not judge, we are not critical of anyone who earnestly seeks the Lord. We welcome people where they are, and then seek to partner with them to lead them deeper into a living relationship with Jesus. We do that through Worship, Education, Pastoral Care, Service, and mutual encouragement and prayer.
