Who We Are

Glad Tidings is a contemporary, Bible-based, Christian Fellowship of real people. We are non-judgmental, Word-focus, and loving fellowship of people striving to grow in God's Grace. We seek to achieve wholeness in the spiritual, physical, emotional, relational, sexual, financial, intellectual, and directional areas of our lives. We believe that all people can overcome their fears, limitations, and frustrations through faith, hope, and love. God's Word is the source of these three. Come, worship, and be uplifted with contemporary music provided by the Glad Tidings Praise Team Band. Hear amazing truth provided by Pastor Henry Carroll as he opens up the possibilities of an amazing life revealed in God's Word.

Our Services

What are services like?
We come into our Church with lots of talking, sharing, laughter, children running to say hello to others, and excitement in life. We sing, clap, shout sometimes, raise our hands, come to the front for prayer with our Elders, and seek time with our Lord. After Praise and Worship, we send our kids to Children's Church and take a Cookie and Coffee break for 5 to 10 minutes before taking our seats to hear the Word from our Pastor. He is real, very knowledgeable, and engages in interaction with the audience. He is non-judgmental and practical.

What is the community like?
Wilmington is a beach, college, and urban city that is growing. It has a lot of young people and young families.

What if I'm not a Christian?
Come and relax. We don't care. We are not very concerned with formal membership. We jokingly say that if you come once, you're a visitor. If you come twice, you're a member, and if you come three times, you may be asked to preach. We are joking, but we are very informal. Relationship is more important to us than formal contracts. We are here to help you in your search for truth and your purpose in life. We don't judge or pressure you in any way. Failure in one or more of the eight areas of your life is expected, but we encourage you to try and try again. Never give up. We love and accept people.
