MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of Gethsemane African Methodist Episcopal Church is to minister to the spiritual, intellectual, physical, emotional and environmental needs of all people by preaching and spreading the liberating gospel of Jesus through word and action; to establish disciples for the Kingdom of God through worship, evangelism and discipleship.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
1. We believe that God is the Creator of all that exists, and the church is the instrument that God is using to transform the world.
2. We believe that everything we do must glorify God.
3. We believe that every member must submit to the vision that God has given to the shepherd of this house to effectively equip God’s people for the work of ministry.
4. We believe that God has called every member to avail themselves to be used of Him to bring about a change in our broken world.
5. We believe that the Word of God is the standard for this house.
