Windell Moore
Windell was born in Clarksville, Tennessee in 1950. He was converted in June of 1962 while attending TN Youth Camp and became a member of the Church of God of Prophecy that summer. He became a licensed minister in 1972 and was ordained a Bishop in 1981. He is a Bible Training Institute graduate (1978), has an Associates Degree in Bible from Tomlinson College, completed one year of studies at Walter State Community College in Morristown, TN and served in the United States Marine Corp. His pastoral ministry began in 1972 at a Mission in New Providence, TN. The ministry continued in churches in Tennessee (Waverly, East Brainerd, Morristown), Wisconsin (Beloit), Louisiana (Morgan City, Baton Rouge) and back to Tennessee in 1993 (Clarksville, Columbia and currently Gallatin). Windell fellowshipped with a Korean congregation in Clarksville, TN and later brought them into our organization, it being the first organized Korean Church of God of Prophecy in the United States. He was later privileged to organize the second Korean church in California and continues to be active in this ministry. He has served as an Evangelist, Pastor, District Overseer, Field Secretary to the State Overseer, Youth Camp Director, Men’s Retreat Director, Couple’s Retreat Director, Sectional Overseer and currently serves as Pastor and Board Member of the TN State Finance Committee.
He is married to Myrna (Hill) Moore.
