About Us

Faith Lutheran Church is a member congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. We offer Sunday school for all ages at 9am on Sundays, and Holy Communion at weekly worship. Our congregation and its members are active in the community of Lebanon and Wilson County, TN, including the Wilson County Community Help Center, Compassionate Hands, Project Linus and many other community organizations. While we use a liturgical mode of worship the musical settings are diverse and include many types of music. All are welcome. We really mean that.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Worship is centered around the Word (scripture, preaching, mutual consolation) and Sacraments (Holy Communion ever Sunday and remembering our Baptism). We use many different liturgical settings and are blessed with a very talented set of musicians. We use a "bluegrass liturgy" any month in which there are five Sundays. We welcome and include children and youth in worship and provide a nursery for those too young to sit through a whole service.

What is the community like?
The community that gathers at Faith Lutheran Church is a diverse group of fun loving and friendly people. We like to celebrate...and eat! Lebanon is the county seat of Wilson county in Middle Tennessee. Many people who live in this community work in Nashville. Cumberland College and the headquarters of Cracker Barrel are located in Lebanon.

You are welcome. A tenant of Lutheran theology is that God acts on our behalf through Jesus Christ. Come and explore and experience what that means for you. You will never be pressured to "make a decision for Christ" because we believe Christ has already made a decision for you! This is a place where you would be welcome to be a part of Christian community and learn how that might help you make meaning for your life and the world in which you live, work and play.
