About Us

Healing is possible, today!

Christian Science is more than a church or a religion. Our members are devoted to studying and putting into practice what they learn in Christian Science because they have seen and experienced the healing results that it brings to their lives.

We are Christian and study The Bible to learn more about the teachings of Christ Jesus and to deepen our individual relationship with our Father-Mother God. Christian Science refers to the system of healing based on divine law that Jesus taught and demonstrated through his healing works and through his crucifixion, resurrection and ascension, which we can learn to demonstrate in our own lives.

For a deeper exploration of the what and how of Christian healing, we turn to Mary Baker Eddy’s textbook for healing, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures. This book explains Christ Jesus’ teachings and healing works as a demonstrable science that we can all study and learn to practice.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Our Sunday services resemble a typical Christian Sunday service. It includes singing and praying as a congregation, a musical solo, and a sermon. If you are new to Christian Science and would like a full-text copy of the sermon to follow along with, you can ask one of the ushers and they will gladly provide it. It is common for students of Christian Science to have a copy of the sermon in advance and to study it throughout the week prior to the service. The Wednesday meeting is a little bit different. It is designed to bring the congregation together to share the results of our study of Christian Science, which can be in the form of sharing inspiration, gratitude, and especially testimonies of healing, physical and otherwise. Like the Sunday service, Wednesday meetings include readings from The Bible and Science and Health. The readings are followed by 20-30 minutes of time that is open for anyone in attendance to share gratitude, testimonies and inspiration.

What is the community like?
Our members are devoted to studying and putting into practice what they learn in Christian Science because they have seen and experienced the healing results that it brings to their lives. We are a warm, friendly, multi-generational community of spiritual thinkers. The service itself is fairly low-key and traditional, but you can be assured of being approached and given a friendly welcome by the ushers, readers and other congregants at the close of the service. We are all interested in supporting each others' spiritual growth, so you should feel free to talk to people and ask questions of anyone in the congregation.

What if I'm not a Christian?
Healing is for everyone. We welcome you to come and learn, and to see how divine Love can set you free from whatever obstacles you may be facing in your life today.
