Our focus is upon fostering healthy relationships among one another for the purpose of reaching the unchurched for Christ. Our ministries include local and foreign missions, local outreach, leadership and new believers discipleship, church fellowship, biblical stewardship, blended worship, small groups and friendship.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Blended Worship; Multi-Media; Orchestra; Worship Band; Sanctuary Choir; Worship Team; Bible Messages; Baptism and Communion

What is the community like?
Warm and excepting congregation; family oriented; welcomes new guests; supports those in need; prays for one another.

What if I'm not a Christian?
You will not be judged but accepted; An invitation to begin a relationship with Christ will be offered at the close of worship; Information will be shared in Sunday School and a Welcome Packet will be offered on how to begin a spiritual journey.


Leadership

Douglas Heckman Sr

Married over 40 years, 3 adult children, 10 grandchildren. Serving as a Pastor since 1981; Bridgeton First Wesleyan is the 3rd pastorate; BS in Pastoral Studies and Sacred Music from United Wesleyan College ('80); MA in Pastoral Ministries from Indiana Wesleyan University ('99); Returned in 2010 to serve the local church from where the Lord has called us from.
