Who We Are

Faith Fellowship is marked by a casual, intuitive, high-tech atmosphere with today’s culture in mind. The weekend service is creative, contemporary and compelling with only one intent–to present the message of Jesus Christ in a way that is relevant and alive. The high-energy, cutting-edge worship, drama, and multi-media presentations highlight the worship experience. Pastors Dr. Daymond Talkington, David Blackburn and Jeff Heil use a no-holds-barred communication style in applying God’s Word to life’s complexities. This isn’t church as you have known it; it is energetic, captivating, and never boring.

Our Services

What are services like?
We use 3 adjectives to describe services at Faith Fellowship: Creative, Contemporary and Compelling. You will find an amazingly comfortable worship center with theater-style seating and great sight lines. No matter where you sit, you can see and hear everything that is happening. The band is a seasoned group of musicians who can cover a wide range of music. You never know what you will hear on any given week. The drama team has many years of theater experience under their belts and often share their skills to enhance the message. The pastors each have a different teaching style. Each will give you insight as to what the Bible has to say about the topic of the week and will help you apply it to your life. Come as you are....leave inspired.

What is the community like?
We intentionally named the church Faith Fellowship because we believe there should be a family-like atmosphere. Fellowship is important enough to us to put it in our name. Our people love to get together, share experiences and enjoy each other's company. You will feel welcomed the moment you reach the parking lot.

What if I'm not a Christian?
That's OK. Many come to us not really sure what they believe. You will get SOMETHING out of each message even if you are not a Christian. You will not be made to feel uncomfortable or self-conscious about where you are in life. Our goal is to give you the information and inspiration to help make a decision about your faith. We will let you take as long as you need to work through that decision.

Daymond Talkington

I first started into full-time ministry when I was twenty. God placed on my heart a dream of a church that would leverage its talents and resources to reach people for Jesus Christ, a church that would speak to culture in a way that would allow people to connect. I figured out early on that my friends who were far from God, and there were a lot of them, absolutely weren’t connecting with the church. I could connect with them, but when I’d bring them to church, I realized everything was geared for those who already believe…. In fact, you had to have a faith base to even understand most of what was going on. I remember praying in those early years, “God if you want me to, I’ll start a church that will do things differently. I’d love to lead a church that strips it all down and meets people where they are. Because if a church were to do that, it could reach and change lives and mark eternity. So God I’m ready to lead that church when you say ‘go,’” For the next twenty-two years God strengthened my leadership and speaking skills and then started pressing me. It was a season of turbulence and disillusionment when the Holy Spirit began ministering and reminding me of the dream that had faded to a degree. Then God said, “Now lead the church that you promised me you’d lead,” and Faith Fellowship was born and the rest is history.
