What are services like?
The service lasts about an hour--as short as 50 minutes as long as 70 minutes. We sing songs using a 6-piece band (piano, guitar, bass, violin, synth, and drums). The sermon lasts about 30 minutes and uses scripture to teach helpful, life-transforming messages. There are often videos or other creative elements used to help illustrate themes. The service always closes with a blessing by a pastor. You may wear whatever you want. There are some people who wear suits and ties, but many go more business casual (slacks and a button shirt), and still others wear jeans and t-shirts. It’s important to remember that God looks at the soul not at the suit. We offer Kids’ Own Worship (Sunday School) for children age three through 5th grade as well as a nursery (newborn through two years) during each of our worship services. Our state-of-the-art electronic kids check-in system, parent paging system, and secure kids area will allow you to have peace of mind during services. And, our Jesus-centered kids programming is so fun and engaging your kids will beg to come back!

What is the community like?
The community is glad to see you. Don't be surprised when people introduce themselves to you, ask if you want to sit over by them, or invite you to spend more time with them. We know it can be intimidating to visit a church for the first time, so we give all our first time guests a gift to honor them for checking out First Church

What if I'm not a Christian?
