What to Expect

What are services like?
Our 8:30 Service is contemporary with a praise band. People feel free during this service to worship in a meaningful way. Our 11:00 Service is more traditional with a choir. Both services have a Bible based sermon. The atmosphere is casual and friendly.

What is the community like?
Our desire is that everyone who attends First Christian feel at home and part of the family. We emphasize the need for involvement in our church and in ministering for the Kingdom of God. We want to help every individual find their place in serving for the Kingdom.

What if I'm not a Christian?
Jesus Christ said it best when He said, "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." Jesus wants to give us freedom from our burdens of sin, loneliness, fear and despair. The fountain outside our church is engraved with these words, "If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink." We offer the same invitation. We invite everyone to come to Jesus and receive the water of life that brings salvation.

Dwayne Dickson

Dwayne has served at FCC for over 16 years. During that time the church has grown from 75 to 230. There have been well over 250 baptism during that time. He is a graduate of Emmanuel School of Religion and Northwest Christian College.

We have been attending FCC for 8 years and have been members for 7 years. We absolutely love this church family! There is something for everyone here, from 0-93. There is a great children's program (pre-k to 6th grade), youth group (7th-12th grades), as well as 5 adult classes (1 is a women's class) for Sunday school and there are two worship services...one more contemporary & one more traditional. Our children have grown up in this church, physically, emotionally, & most important...spiritually. Our entire family have made friends here that will last a lifetime. This truly is a great place to meet with God & some really great Godly people. We hope to see you there!
