About Us
Rev. J. Lewis Shuck, the first American Baptist missionary to China, began his work in Sacramento in 1854. The first chapel was built on 6th and H Streets and dedicated on June 10, 1855. The church organized as the First Chinese Baptist Church in 1952 and dedicated it's current location in 1960. It is now currently operating as Park Vista Christian Church.
