First Baptist Church Red Bank New Jersey is a community focused, Christ-centered Bible believing church in Red Bank, NJ on the Jersey Shore.We are active in small group bible studies, youth ministry, children's ministry (grades preschool-5th)and other local ministries on the Jersey Shore. We regularly gather together with our community of believers to worship God and fellowship with one another.We grow in our faith through adult, young adult and youth small group bible studies and Sunday school.And we go out into the world with a purpose to make it a better place and to share the good news of salvation by grace, through faith in Jesus Christ. We support many local and global ministries and we encourage our congregation to get involved, make a difference and be a part of something greater than themselves.

Ty Choate

Reverend Dr. Tyrone Choate Sr. is an ordained American Baptist Minister that is serving as Senior Pastor at the First Baptist Church of Red Bank, New Jersey. He has Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Cincinnati, a Master of Ministry Degree, Doctorate of Theology, and Doctor of Pastoral Counseling from Andersonville Theological Seminary and The National Christian Counselors Association. Pastor Choate served at the Billy Graham Crusade in Cincinnati, Ohio in 2002 on the Pastor’s Committee and as a Supervisor of Counselors. Pastor Ty has a heart for reaching the lost and a zeal for living out the Great Commission in the local church, community, country, and around the world. Pastor has been blessed by opportunities to witness and preach in various parts of this country and in other nations through revivals, retreats, men’s conferences, and mission trips.
