About Us

We are a Southern Baptist church desiring to reach and minister to our region with the good news of God's love. Our goal is to lead people to worship, grow and serve: we worship God because He loves us and we love Him; we grow by learning what the Bible teaches us; from that spiritual growth we gain a desire to serve God by serving others. We are constantly in this process of worshiping, growing and serving. Every follower of Christ has gifts and talents to use as they serve God. both in the church family and out in the community. We use a "blended" style of worship, with both older and newer music to help us worship. We use a blended mix of Sunday Sunday classes on Sunday mornings and small group discipleship on Sunday evenings and other times. This is an exciting church family with older members and young families, long time believers and new believers. At the beginning of 2013 we average about 375 in weekend attendance.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Casual and friendly. We seek to provide uplifting, quality music, a Bible message that is understandable, meaningful, and applicable. Our goal is to help each other use our God-given gifts to serve Him by serving others. Worship services are every Sunday morning at 8:45 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Sunday School classes are also taking place at 8:45 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.

What is the community like?
Our church community is a loving group of people who are excited to be a part of God's family. We are people who delight to welcome new friends and neighbors, family and co-workers in to a warm, friendly and fun group of people who are all on a journey of learning how to love God and serve Him and serve one another. The larger Body of Christ in our town - people of other churches and denominations - have a love for one another and we realize we are serving God together in order for God to be honored and glorified in our town.

If you're not a believer, we welcome you to come and be a part of what's going on in our church family. Come worship with us, join a Bible study group, ask questions and explore what God wants to do in your life. We want you to know that God loves you and invites you to be in His family.
