About Us

An evangelical church in northern New Jersey

Ledgewood Baptist is a medium-sized evangelical church with an intimate sanctuary filled with beautiful stained glass windows. We have ministries for all ages and have many fellowship events. The study of the Bible is important for us and opportunities are available throughout the week.

Spanish-speaking services are held every Sunday at 1:00 in the sanctuary by Mision Latina, which also has Bible studies during the week.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Our church has a very laid-back atmosphere. Many visitors have commented on how friendly the congregation is. The sermons focus on the Bible and how it applies to everyday life and the questions we all have.

What is the community like?
We span all age groups. Most come from the local communities. Some of the families helped found the church a century ago, while others have joined a few months ago. Everyone is invited to become involved.

What if I'm not a Christian?
Everyone is welcome to attend our services, no matter what you believe or don't believe. Come with an open mind. We have many opportunities for discussion in our Sunday School and Bible studies.

    We stopped by your church on Sunday January 19 about noon. We saw some members leaving and we briefly chatted with them. We asked to go in and they said sure. We explained we were married there on May 6,1989 and this was our first time back since then. We couldn't remember at the time but Rev William Burger was the priest that married us. We had a great time reminiscing about our special day. Vacation is over and it's back to Colorado for us. Thanks LBC. [email protected]
