First Baptist Church Austinville

About Us
The "church" is the body of Christ. It's purpose is to evangelize the lost, equip the believers, and exalt the Savior. In the New Testament it is used to describe the people of God in general as well as a local group of believers. As the body of Christ, the church is special to the Lord.
First Baptist Church of Austinville is a unique group of believers. We share the same vision as we serve the Lord in unison. We share common beliefs and commitments. We are friends and we love to make new friends. We would be honored to have you come and build a strong and lasting friendship with us.
If you are seeking God's salvation we want to share Jesus Christ with you. If you are seeking a place of service and worship, we invite you to come and worship with us. Our prayer is that the God will work His will in your life. It is our desire for God to use us in some special way to be a blessing to you. You are welcomed at the First Baptist Church of Austinville.
We want to personally invite you to come and see what we are all about. Be blessed and be a blessing!

Randy Berry
Brother Randy has a tremendous passion for God’s Word coupled with a love for God’s people. He has a contagious spirit of generosity that flows through every facet of his ministry. Having received his mandate from God, Randy obediently fulfills his calling as Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church Austinville. His vision for the church is uncompromisingly clear: Igniting a passion for God in the hearts of people through the preaching and teaching of God’s Word. Randy received both his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Divinity degrees from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He is currently working on his doctoral degree. On December 11, 1999, Randy married Kandi McSpadden of Decatur, Alabama. Their son Cooper Randall Berry, was born January 18, 2008.
