First Assembly of God

First Assembly of God of Elizabeth, New Jersey is a diverse, multicultural, and Spirit-filled house of worship. Our church focuses its ministry on discipleship and mentorship. Our worship is contemporary and anointed. Our desire is to bring all worshippers into the presence of God so that they may experience His healing and transforming power.

First Assembly houses five congregations. Three congregations worship in Spanish, one worships in an African dialect, and the host congregation worships in English, with occassional translation into Spanish and Portuguese. Since our church is eight minutes from the Newark/Elizabeth Liberty International Airport, the English congregation frequently receives visitors from across the nation and from other countries visiting or doing business in New York City.
