This church is dedicated to the exposition of the entire Word of God so that sinners are called to repentance, believers grow in their discipleship and everything is done to the glory of God. We adhere to the principles of the historic church, affirming the Apostles, Nicene and Athanasian Creeds. We are all sinners, saved by grace. Because of that, we say "Amen" to this prayer by John Newton, former Captain of a slave ship who wrote, "Amazing Grace" after his conversion. He wrote:

"I am not what I ought to be, I am not what I want to be, I am not what I one day will be, but I am not what I was. And, by the grace of God, I am what I am."

Adrian Powell

Faith Community is led by Adrian Powell, who has been the Pastor since September 2017. Along with his lovely and talented wife, Sheryle Lynn, they have a lifetime of ministry experience. Fondly known as "Pastor A", Adrian is known for his talent for exposition of the Biblical text in an approachable, easy to understand way. His wife is a talented singer (classically-trained mezzo soprano) and speaker in her own right, having worked for several non-profit organizations in Central Ohio, including United Way of Central Ohio in Development and the King Arts Complex as CEO before becoming Sales Director for Brookdale Lakeview Crossing. Adrian is active in the Ohio Ministries Central District, as a member of the District Credentials Committee, and having been a Coach for the Theology Module in Leadership Focus. He is serious about his calling and has studied systematic theology and studies church history as well as the theology of the Early Church Fathers (Tertullian, Athanasius and Augustine, among others) and the Reformation.
