What to Expect

What are services like?
Our worship is simple and biblical. We truly hope that you will be impressed by the simplicity of our services. They are designed to draw you closer to God and to provide an atmosphere that will allow you to worship God in reverence according to His will. "God is spirit, and the people who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."--John 4:24 Since all we do is governed by the word of God, you will find us observing only those things contained in it. We shall do our best to duplicate and pattern everything we do after the early church of the New Testament. Because worship is participation, you are warmly encouraged to join us in each item of worship.

What is the community like?
Fairmont Park is a non-denominational Christian fellowship for the residents and visitors of Midland to gather together to worship and honor our God. We believe the Bible is God's word and that it is all we need to guide us in our lives. We come together to encourage each other and to seek God's will and His purpose for our lives. Everyone is welcome!

What if I'm not a Christian?
If you are ready to take the next step, please call the church office at (432) 699-7064 to talk to one of our ministers. They would be happy to study with you, or, if you are ready, take your confession and immerse you in baptism so that you are added to the family of God. Please, don't delay the most important decision you will ever make! "And the Spirit and the bride say, 'Come!' And let the one who hears say: 'Come!' And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wants it take the water of life free of charge."--Rev.22:17 "So confess your sins to one another and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great effectiveness."--James 5:16 "He who conceals his sins does not prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy."--Prov. 28:13
