Not Just Another Church

We are a multi-generational church with a blended worship style. We offer lots of programs for children and youth. We have several outreach ministries and are always looking to develop more.
Worship is at 9:30 on Sunday morning with fellowship time following worship and then Sunday School hour from 11:00 - Noon

Vibe: Casual, Down to Earth, Friendly, Conservative, Multigenerational, Lots of kids

What to Expect

What are services like?
We have a little bit of liturgy, traditional hymns and some contemporary music mixed in. We have a small, but very good chancel choir. Children are ministered to during the worship service and the early elementary and pre-school kids are offered "Children's Church" during the preaching.

What is the community like?
Casual. friendly and welcoming

What if I'm not a Christian?
You will be welcome to worship with us and offered opportunities to come to faith in Jesus Christ.

Leadership

Joe Wright

Born in So. Charleston WV. Grew up in Streetsboro, OH. Married Sue in 1975, three children, four grandchildren. Called to pastoral ministry in 1989 at the age of 35. Studied at Franciscan University, Kent State University and in the Course of Studies for Local Pastors at Garrett Evangelical Seminary in Evanston, Ill. Served three appointments before coming to F.U.M.C. in July 2009.
