About Us
Located on the corner of 93rd and Pleasant Avenue in the historic Chicago neighborhood of Beverly, Holy Nativity has been present and ministering to the community for over 115 years. Our Sunday mass is at 9:30 with a wonderful coffee hour following. A fantastic choir sings from September through May. Our Sunday mass is usually Rite I with Rite II alternating throughout the year. We welcome children of all ages to worship - no matter how wiggly or fussy or chatty, they, like everybody else, are totally welcome!!

Leadership
The Rev Gina Volpe
Rector
Chicago native. Education: BA in music and minor in Spanish from St. Mary of the Woods College in Indiana; Masters studies in musicology from Illinois State University; MDiv from Seabury Western Theological Seminary; Post graduate certificate in Healthcare ethics from Rush University. Ordination in the Episcopal Church - diaconate June 1995; priesthood December 1995. Served as a hospice chaplain for 16 years with a promotion to clinical manager/director for 5 years. Has concurrently served many congregations in the Diocese of Chicago throughout hospice ministry. Fluent in English, Spanish, and Italian as well as reads Hebrew, Greek, Aramaic, Latin, French, and German with a smattering of Japanese and Korean. Was installed as Rector of Holy Nativity on June 11, 2015 after serving as priest in charge since November 1, 2013.
