Our Services

What are services like?
Worship is the heart and center of our life together at Eastern Shore Chapel. As Episcopalians, we use The Book of Common Prayer 1979 as the basis of most of our services. On Sunday morning we celebrate Holy Eucharist - Rite I at our 8:00 service and Holy Eucharist - Rite II at 10:15. The choir sings at our 10:15 service. During our 10:15 we offer Children's Chapel for preschool - 2nd grade. Children attend an age-appropriate service with songs, prayers and a Bible story.

What is the community like?
Eastern Shore Chapel is located in the City of Virginia Beach. The most populous city in the state of Virginia, Virginia Beach is known for both its 40 miles of beautiful beaches and its large military presence.

What if I'm not a Christian?
We welcome you and we are happy to answer any questions you may have about our beliefs and practices. We would also be interested in understanding your faith traditions.
