East Mountain Vineyard Church

Who We Are

Real, Relevant Church for the East Mountains

We are so excited that you visited us online today. East Mountain Vineyard Church (EMV) is a Biblically-based, Christ-centered, Spirit-led church. It is committed to making disciples that love the Lord with all their heart, mind, soul and strength; who fervently love one another from a pure heart, and who reach out in love to those who do not know Christ. Jesus came to show us what life can be. We believe that God’s Word should be made applicable and relevant to everyday life. We would love to meet you. Please join us at 10:00 a.m. for one of our Sunday morning services. EMV holds a fellowship luncheon after the service on the first Sunday of every month.

Leadership

Bill Murchison

In early 2010 the Lord began speaking to Bill Murchison about planting a vineyard in the East Mountains. As he prayed and sought the Lord for clarification about what he had heard, the word was confirmed prophetically to Bill and Karen through others. In May 2010, Bill began to share his vision with others that he felt might be interested in being a part of the church plant. At the end of July the Core Group, which consisted of nine people, began meeting every other week. During this time, Bill went through the church planting process required by the Vineyard USA. On October 13, 2010, Bill received notice from the Vineyard USA that the church plant had been formally approved.
