Who We Are
We’re a growing young church with several families calling Doxa home, and just over half our 30+ members in their twenties. Our first meeting was held in September 2009 and consisted of 10 Snoqualmites who agreed on 2 things to take to the Renton Highlands: reformed teaching and spending life together.
Doxa Community Church was planted in the Renton Highlands to focus on enjoying God together, sharing life as a community, and seeking opportunities to share that joy with others.
Every Sunday we gather together to worship God in singing, learn from His Word through preaching, receive His grace in communion, and celebrate Jesus Christ by fellowship.
We seek to do life together in several ways. Including, but not limited to…
Book groups at Vince’s Coffee.
Eating lunch after Sunday service.
Working out together at Planet Fitness.
Playing Basketball together at local blacktops.
Seeing and discussing movies together at The Landing
Discussing the Bible, supporting each other, and laughing together at Community Group.
We intentionally do life together publicly- reading, talking, playing, eating… so Christ’s light can shine through us. This has piqued curiosity, given opportunity to share the hope within us, and even brought some to Christ! Some of this scattered seed will fall on rocks & thorns but we pray God will increase the seed to fertile soil.
We invite you to come be a part of the story God’s writing in us, for His glory!
