Who We Are

Covenant Grace exists to cultivate God-glorifying, Christ-centered, Spirit empowered generations of spirit and truth worshippers.

No matter where you find yourself at in your relationship with God, we believe that God is calling you to himself, and to a people that will journey with you as you grow. No one person has all of life figured out, but we believe that God works through a variety of different people to bring us to the vision that he has for us.

If you are looking to grow in your relationship with God ( whether you are close or far), and to grow with a people who will truly care for you as a person, come check us out! If you find that this church may not be what you are looking for on your first visit, we would love to recommend you to visit other churches that may fit what you are looking for ( there are over 150 great churches in our valley! ).

Our aim is simply to see you love God! Whatever it takes to get you there, we want to see that happen!

Our Services

What are services like?
The services are about an hour and fifteen minutes in length. Worship varies between high energy or reflective, modern contemporary songs and hymns. We strive to show the relevance of God's Word to our culture, and we aim to encourage people now, in the same way that God encouraged his people in the 1st century context. We do weekly communion, and usually close with a responsive closing song. If you have any questions, feel free to email us!

What is the community like?
We really are a welcoming church. Our church is overwhelmed by the grace of God, and the welcome he has given us to himself. We believe that we need to be a reflection of God in this, and we desire to see every person who comes, welcomed as Jesus would welcome them.

What if I'm not a Christian?
We believe that our services are perfect for those that are non-christians. We explain everything we are doing through the service, not just for the sake of non-christians, but we also find that christians tend to forget, or have never been taught why certain elements of the service exist. We believe that everyone is on a journey, and only God, in his timing, can help people grow. Our role is not to pressure people or condemn them for the place they are at spiritually. We exist to encourage you to continue in your pursuit after God, and we hope we can make more sense of whatever confusion or questions you may have. We will be glad you came, and we believe you will too.

Sebastian Cortez

Sebastian Cortez

Sebastian "Sabo" Cortez has ben married to an amazing wife of eleven years, Beth Cortez, and is the Father of three pretty amazing kids ( Tyson age 6; Mia age 4; and Celine age 1 1/2 ). He is also the lead pastor of Covenant Grace Church, a church plant out of Rancho Community Church (RCC). Sabo is a person that has been radically transformed by the good news of what God has done in saving the world. He is humbled by the fact that God was patient with him through his journey of faith, and believes that the church needs to walk and encourage people who may be struggling or simply exploring what Jesus is all about. Sabo just finished his Bachelor's in religion from Faith Evangelical college and seminary, and is set to begin his Master's of Divinity from Westminster Seminary in Escondido, California.
