About Us

A place to worship, belong, become, and serve

Everyone is welcome at Cornerstone. When you arrive you’ll see children and adults of all ages, all walks of life, and a variety of ethnic origins. The highlight of Sunday is our worship service where we hear God’s word preached, express our hearts to God through music, reflect on our souls, and are transformed through encounter with God. After a time of refreshments and fellowship we have Sunday School classes.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Everyone is created in the image and likeness of God. That means we should have a richness of existence that is more than exciting experiences or stacks of stuff. That richness is found in relationship with our Creator, of which the highest expression is worship. In worship we express our hearts to God in song, hear His word, pray, find forgiveness and renewal in our relationships, and discover the joy of serving. We seek to extend worship to encompass all of life.

What is the community like?
Everyone needs a home—a place to be, a place of love, a place of acceptance, a place of joy. We are a diverse group—singles and seniors, nest builders and empty nesters, and professionals and workers from all over the world. Our home is not a lot of people “just like me.” We are different in many ways but one in Christ. That’s why our spiritual home is a place where no one is left out and everyone belongs.

What if I'm not a Christian?
If everyone is created in the image and likeness of God, then what should we look like? For us, it looks like growth. It looks like change. It is a process of becoming. We are people on a journey of following Christ. We are becoming the person God created each of us to be. Visitors and seekers are welcome to join us in worship, service, and ask any questions you may have.

This is a church that knows what true worship is. This is not about a performance or creating a show, but bringing the congregation to focus on our God in Heaven and singing his praises!
  • Grace
This is a very warm and friendly, loving place. I've attended and been a member of many different churches during my life, and I've never felt so well-cared for as I do at this one!
