About Us
CBC is an independent, nondenominational, Protestant body of believers with a common love for Jesus Christ. As our name implies, the Bible is our sole guide for faith and practice. We believe in the doctrines of Christianity as taught in Scripture, most importantly as they relate to the nature of God, the person and work of Jesus Christ, and salvation through Him. Although the purpose of every Christian is to glorify God, we believe we can best do that through the faithful exposition and application of God's Word, which will bring men and women to faith and maturity in our Lord Jesus Christ. Naturally, our beliefs and church leadership have been shaped by our devotion to Scripture, which is to say, CBC is an elder-led church based on the New Testament model with a biblically sound doctrinal statement and constitution.

Leadership
Dan Phillips
Dan holds a Master of Divinity from Talbot Theological Seminary. He has taught at Talbot and other Bible institutes and colleges. Dan's ministry at CBC marks his return to full-time pastoral work after a hiatus working in the IT world, during which time he developed an online blogging ministry including the popular Pyromaniacs blog. Two of Dan's books were published in 2011: The World-Tilting Gospel and God's Wisdom in Proverbs. Dan and his wife, Valerie have four children.Location & Directions
