What are services like?
We understand that the world can be harsh and hostile place at times. We will not be. Services are joy-filled, spirit-filled, deeply aware of what’s happening in the world and focused on creating space for worshippers to encounter God. The music is grounded in African American traditions, though we do it all! And - all are welcome.

What is the community like?
The church members are loving, friendly, gracious - and human! Our community - Bedford Stuyvesant - is beautiful.

What if I'm not a Christian?
If you are not a Christian, and you find that you don’t understand something that we are doing or saying - ask. Regardless of your faith or conscience, our aim is that all will experience a loving community.
